How to Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your DatingMatch - Chat & Friends account directly inside the app.
Log in to your account using your registered credentials.
Tap your profile menu located and open the Profile section.
Confirm the deletion request. Depending on your security settings, you may be asked to re-enter your credentials.
Once confirmed, your account will be permanently deleted and you will be redirected to the login screen.
What Happens to Your Data?
When you request account deletion, we apply the following privacy and data retention policies.
✅ Data Deleted Immediately
- Name, email address and profile information
- Photos uploaded to your profile
- Messages, likes and app interactions
- Preferences and account settings
- Match history and related activity
⏳ Data Retained Temporarily
- Security and fraud prevention logs
- Reports involving abusive or harmful behavior
- Payment records processed by Stripe
- Technical logs required for legal compliance
Payment Information
If you purchased subscriptions or premium features, payment-related information may be securely retained by Stripe, our payment processor, in accordance with financial, tax and regulatory obligations.
DatingMatch does not store complete payment card information on its own servers.
Security & Fraud Prevention
Certain security-related logs may be temporarily retained to help prevent fraud, unauthorized access, abuse, scams and harmful activity on the platform.
These records are automatically deleted after a limited retention period unless longer storage is legally required.
